Supermoon Is… What?

Supermoon aka supermoon is a term that is used when the position of the moon is really close to the earth.  Is it actually like that? Scientists despite this theory. That’s because too many relative calculations need to be included in accounts. Not to mention the flat earth theory that the more make the position of the moon more doubtful. Not just its position… but also the shape.

Then what makes this moon so super? Did he go through One Punch Man training process so it became a superhero? Or because it is actually a Kryptonian that gets the yellow sun?

The supermoon is the term used by astrologers to describe the state of the full moon when the moon is in its closest position to Earth (apsis / perigee). This term is not widely accepted, especially among scientists. Specifically, the super moon can be a full moon or new moon, whose distance to the earth is about 10% or less from its trajectory distance to the earth. When this phenomenon occurs, the moon appears larger and lighter, although the distance changes only a few kilometers. [1]

The super moons are sometimes associated with natural disasters, such as earthquakes, [6] volcanoes, and others. That is because the time of the super moon is almost always close to the occurrence of a certain natural disaster. [2] However, the super moon is not strong enough to affect the soil surface or volcano on Earth, [1] [7] the influence of this super moon phenomenon on earth is only the rise of sea level by several inches in some areas.

The effect of the super moon phenomenon on the increase in seismic activity actually occurs on the surface of the moon itself, although the effect is not too great. When in a state of the super moon, the moon experiences an earthquake. This is detected by seismological instruments left by Apollo 11 astronauts on the moon. [8]

 I’m not the one who made it … it’s John’s word in Dear John. I remember when I was in elementary school, there was an Indonesian astronaut which has been scheduled to go to the moon. Wow, cool right? But unfortunately, she didn’t make it, or did she? Maybe Google knows … wait …

Walah, I even find 2015 news on Detik.com about Rizwan who will be the first Indonesian to the moon. Meaning that “mbak-mbak” that I mentioned earlier didn’t make it there.

There was once a theory that if all KFC chicken lined-up will be as long as the distance from earth to the moon. Interesting theory? So why we ourselves never been to the moon? Is it because we have less flour?

Back to the title of this article, why the moon is never reversed? I myself realized this when I read someone’s comments on the web Deviant Art who commented on his friend’s work. He said (more or less), “good, but the moon is upside down.” I then realized that the moon was never reversed or seems flipped. Actually, do not have a headache thinking about it, just say it because of the power of God.

Supermoon alias bulan super adalah istilah yang dipakai kalau posisi bulan tuh lagi deket banget sama bumi. Mungkin ini fase manic si bulan ya, kalau lagi depresif kan berantem melulu, boro-boro mau deket. Atau dia malah lagi menjauh sama benda-benda langit lainnya dan jadi kurang gaul?

Emang beneran deket? Ilmuwan aja gak setuju-setuju amat kok. Ya iyalah, secara kita ngukurnya juga gimana. Belum lagi teori bumi datar yang makin bikin posisi bulan makin patut diragukan. Gak cuma posisinya, sob… tapi juga bentuknya.

Lalu kenapa si bulan jadi super? Apakah dia melalui proses ala Garuda sehingga dia jadi superhero? Atau karena dia adalah Kryptonian yang kena matahari kuning?

Bulan super adalah istilah yang digunakan oleh para astrolog untuk menggambarkan keadaan bulan penuh ketika bulan berada dalam posisi terdekatnya dengan Bumi (apsis/perigee). Istilah ini tidak diterima secara luas, terutama di kalangan ilmuwan. Secara spesifik, bulan super bisa merupakan bulan purnama atau bulan baru, yang jaraknya dengan bumi sekitar 10% atau kurang dari jarak lintasannya dengan bumi. Ketika fenomena ini terjadi, bulan nampak lebih besar dan lebih terang, meskipun perubahan jaraknya hanya beberapa kilometer.^[1]

Bulan super kadang dihubung-hubungkan dengan bencana alam, seperti gempa bumi,^[6] gunung meletus, dan lain-lain. Itu karena waktu terjadinya bulan super hampir selalu berdekatan dengan terjadinya suatu bencana alam tertentu.^[2] Namun, bulan super tidak cukup kuat untuk memengaruhi permukaan tanah ataupun gunung berapi di Bumi,^[1][7] pengaruh dari fenomena bulan super ini di bumi hanyalah naiknya permukaan laut sekitar beberapa inci di beberapa daerah.

Pengaruh fenomena bulan super terhadap peningkatan aktivitas seismik justru terjadi di permukaan bulan sendiri, meskipun efeknya tidak terlalu besar. Ketika berada dalam keadaan bulan super, bulan mengalami gempa. Hal ini terdeteksi oleh instrumen seismologi yang ditinggalkan oleh para astronot Apollo 11 di bulan.^[8]

Istilah bulan super pertama kali dikemukakan oleh astrolog Richard Nolle pada tahun 1979.^[9]

Balik ke bulan dari pandangan gw…

“Di manapun kita berada, bulan gak pernah lebih gede dari jempol kita.”

Keren yah quote-nya? Bukan gw yang bikin sih… itu kata si John di film Dear John. Gw inget waktu SD dulu sempat ada antariksawan (atau wati tepatnya) Indonesia yang dijadwalkan bakal ke bulan. Wuih keren kan? Tapi sayangnya gak jadi, sob! Alasannya sampai sekarang gw gak tahu. Tapi mungkin Google tahu… sebentar…

Walah, gw malah nemu berita tahun 2015 di Detik.com soal Rizwan yang bakal jadi orang Indonesia pertama yang ke bulan. Berarti mbak-mbak yang tadi gw sebutin beneran gak jadi.

Pernah ada teori yang bilang kalau semua ayam KFC dijejerin bakal bisa sampai ke bulan. Menarik ya teorinya? Lantas kenapa kita sendiri gak pernah ke bulan? Apa lantaran kita kurang tepung?

Balik ke judul tulisan ini, kenapa bulan gak pernah terbalik? Gw sendiri sadar hal ini waktu baca komentar seseorang di web Deviant Art yang ngomentarin karya temannya. Dia bilang (kurang lebih), “bagus, tapi bulannya terbalik.” Bener juga sih…gw lantas sadar kalau bulan gak pernah terbalik. Ya siapa tahu maksud pembuatnya sih itu cuma planet yang mirip bulan dan dihuni oleh teman-temannya E.T. Sebetulnya gak usah pusing, tinggal bilang aja itu karena kuasa Allah.

Nah, kenapa yang ragu astronot pernah ke Amrik ga patungan aja sih buat biayain gw ke bulan?
